Giving Back to the Laguna Beach Community

Delahooke Real Estate has been blessed to work with many families throughout our community. We have also been touched by the number of people who struggle with caring for people who suffer from severe health challenges and who don’t have a place to live. Perhaps that’s why we care so deeply about making our communities better places to live. For years Delahooke Real Estate has generously contributed time and money to support local causes that have made an impact on our lives. As a result, a portion of the proceeds from each transaction are donated to one of two charitable organizations:

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY

Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian ministry founded on the conviction that every man, woman and child should have a decent, safe and affordable place to live. Around the world, natural disasters claim lives and leave millions homeless each year. War, conflict and civil unrest also create millions of refugees and internally displaced people. Habitat’s Disaster Response provides shelter assistance, education, training and partnerships to those affected by disasters.

SKIP / BIG SPRINGS EDUCATION THERAPY CENTER

Big Springs Educational Therapy Center & School has been providing help for children and adults with learning disabilities for over 25 years. They provide educational assessments to diagnose learning disabilities and give recommendations for programs, compensations, and strategies to help children and adults who are struggling academically or on the job. They also provide one-on-one individualized therapy sessions, a full-time private school for elementary and middle age children and resources and information on learning disabilities.
